Privacy, cookies & affiliate information

Contact inquiries
Our form collects your name, email, optional organization, area of interest and message. MMG uses these details to respond to and manage your inquiry. Submissions are stored in the site’s PocketBase service on Hostinger. An inquiry is not a newsletter subscription. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information.
Site operation
Hosting services may process IP addresses, technical requests and logs to operate and protect the site. External resources and hosting services have their own privacy practices.
External resources
Images and video can load from Hostinger or Zyrosite. The ship map requests Leaflet resources from jsDelivr and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Your browser contacts those providers when loading these resources. Optional review videos are external links, not newly embedded players.
Cookies and choices
Cookies and browser storage may support hosting, security and site operation. Browser settings let you restrict or remove them. Restricting browser storage may affect some site features. External services have their own cookie choices and notices.
Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Our equipment guide labels Amazon links as affiliate links. Amazon may use cookies and related data to attribute qualifying purchases after you follow a link. Amazon handles those purchases and payment details. MMG does not collect your Amazon payment information. Buyer reviews and ratings remain on Amazon.
Processing location
Service providers may process submitted or technical information outside Canada. Such information is subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of the processing country. We do not promise Canadian-only storage.
